I have a large one in pale green in my living room, a robin&#39;s egg blue one in my breakfast room, and one in apple green in my office. Gourd shapes also make great vases -- I have a collection of three crackle glazed gourds in a pale robin&#39;s egg blue on my entry table. We&#39;ve had them since we got married and started funishing our own house and you&#39;re right, they do pull the room together. Except for my all pink and green guest room (perfect for south Fl and just happens to be my fave colors!), red has been my flow color from room to room - just an accent here or there to connect everything. I have red/burgundy gourd lamps, pink in the guest room, black in our bedroom and they just seem to be the finishing touch!
