Last week, my mother and her bff came in to town for a long weekend. We had such a fun time shopping, eating and going to museums. One of the highlights of our time together was attending Kappa Tablescapes 2012.
Tablescapes is an event put on by the KKG alumni association It raises money for six local charities through a candlelight event and luncheon and it quite the event. We went to the candlelight portion and had the most splendid time. Local stores, companies and designers sign up to decorate tables and no two are the same or even similar. Each table is just over-the-top and the flowers all certainly make a statement. These tables are really works of art!. I took a handful of photos to share with you all. I have included the designers where I can remember. Enjoy!!

It is certainly hard to take a photo with just one hand...so this ended up blurry. This was, however, one of my very favorite tables of the night. The colors and elegance were over the top and perfect! Now, if only I could remember the designer...
I know this is also blurry, but it was too beautiful a table to not include. I love the traditional flowers with the modern, acrylic chairs.
This filled pumpkins are such a fun centerpiece or door decor idea.
These flowers were just stunning!
The boxwood balls were an added bonus. I am all about some boxwood.
