I have been a bad, bad blogger. When I came back I never intended to update my blog daily as I have done in the past, but I certainly intended to check-in more than just once a week. However, enjoying summer (and majorly cleaning out and organizing every inch of my condo) has gotten the best of me. I promise to be better in the coming weeks and months and check in more frequently!
As mentioned, this past week I decided to clean out every little part of my home. I did not just go through a few areas, but rather I literally took every item out of every cabinet and drawer and got serious about organizing, cleaning and letting go. I finally cut ties with things I no longer needed (I may hold on to goods for too long and have some hoarding tendencies....) and feel so much more on top of life now. Anyhow, the point of this is that I revamped my accessories and moved things around when cleaning.
My fridge was cleaned off and tidied up. I also hung an old Lilly memo board on the side which holds coupons and my favorite cards.
I scored these monkey candle holders on Joss and Main ($24 for TWO!). I have a few things on my table so I put them in the chinoiserie birdcages. I love the look!
I found lots of HUGE pearls during my cleaning. I was about to get rid of them, but thought I would see how they looked in an apothecary jar...I loved the end result!
The second apothecary jar is filled with my very favorite gum; Bubbaloo. If you have never tried it you need to track some down!
I gathered all my blue and white in one spot again and added in my Southern Nest monogram.
I purchased some pink and green paper straws for last week's shower. I had a handful left over and rather then store them away I opted to fill a cup with them and spritz the bar cart up.
Finally, I took a memo board out of my car where it has been living for 1.5 years (ouch!!) and hung it behind the door in my bedroom. I hung some fun momentos and old photos on here. It is a happy little pink and green board!
Little changes can make such an impact in a small space and easily refresh your home.

Let me know if you come across any extra Hopsy bags in your cleaning! ;)
Love the pearls in the jar, the Union Jack Pimms on the beverage cart, and your new monkey candlesticks! They are all very "Hopsy"! xoxo
Love the pearls in the jar! Have been thinking about setting up a bar cart in our home too- yours looks great!

It's always so refreshing feeling after a good sprucing up! This post also reminds me, I really need to get back to antiquing for our bar cart!
The pearls in the jar are fantastic! Isn't it fun to re-arrange and see how it brings new life to space? xo
Organizing always releases endorphins for me! A great feeling to edit and organize. Love your decor. xo
I love your bulletin board!
Wow! Even your refrigerator is inspiring!
You shouldn't apologize for your lack of blogging. You've been a busy girl! Love the updates.
I'm so happy you are blogging again. I really enjoy reading it and getting inspiration for my own pink and green life
You are inspiring me to go through all nooks & crannies in my own small space.... thanks for the post!!
I am so with you. I need to do this when I am done with this wedding! It is making me crazy how unfinished the house looks. I know when we get more gifts it will be a big reorganizing of the whole house
I can't believe you are no longer using the bar cart. I'm so in love with it and constantly searching CL for one.
