You've Got to Have FRIENDS!

This is a "MeMe Bird" post. Every year at Camp Greystone Libby tells the MeMe Bird story to every group of campers at every session. Her mother was looking out the window years and years ago and saw a young bird wobbling around the yard. The bird was rather plump and kept screaming "Me, me, me, me" as is wobbled around. After a few moments a much larger bird came into the picture carrying some food. The little bird came running over while screaming "Me, me!" and took the food from the other bird. The plump little bird was obviously very selfish and was named the "Meme Bird" as it wanted everything for itself. So today, is my MeMe bird post. I am sure you are wondering what that means, aren't you?

Since the blog clock is ticking I was hoping to find out who I know in real life that is reading my blog. I really am just curious and would LOVE to know so please do not hold back!

Do I know you from a city I have lived in? Did we go to school together at some point? Are we maybe Greystone friends? Are you an old friend or a current friend or maybe friends with my parents? Did we meet through blogging or maybe at a random event?

Please comment even if you have told me in person and you think I know you read my blog (I am calling you out Nan and all my Dallas friends!) Any of you are able to comment (I have changed the settings for this post so no excuses) so time to fess up :) Have NO shame either! I read lots of blogs and have loved when writers do this so I cannot wait to see who has been reading, or should I even say lurking for a month or maybe years!

Sweet Hopsy,
I think I've been reading for at least two years. I found you from my friend Kristen G in DC via the Junior League via Twitter...I'm guessing. We have tons in common. My family is all from Memphis, born and raised, but I was born in the north, Kalamazoo, MI. My mother went to Greystone and Camp Marywood. My best friend from college is from Edina and I have dear friends from Dallas. My cousin married a precious girl from Americus and I was obsessed with Mary Englebright in college. You are such a love and I've enjoyed your blog so much.
Big hugs from Baltimore,

I am a Mom of 4 (ages 2 to 20, 1 girl and 3 boys) from right outside of Annapolis, MD. I honestly don't know when or why I started to read, but you are an amazing person. Your kind spirit is so genuine, and you are so sweet about how you share your fun adventures - the things you do are so different from my life. The way you handle yourself = pure class. The Internet will be a lonely place without your daily dose of fun. I truly hope you will come back after a much-deserved break. Thanks for the enjoyment these past years.
