DIY Easter Plastic Egg Wreath

I am staying safe and dry during the scary Dallas weather today, eek! In order to add some color to this dreary day I wanted to share the Easter egg wreath I made this weekend with you all. I cannot remember where I first saw this (shockingly it was NOT Pinterest) and I feel bad not giving the original maker credit. It was a darling girl that blogs and lives in Nashville so if it is you let me know and I will link to you!

What you need:

*Wreath Form ($4 with 40% Michael's coupon)

*Plastic Eggs- I opted to buy mine at Walmart as 42 eggs are just $1.97. I only used the pink, blue, yellow and green from three bags. I am sure if you used all the colors you would only need two bags.

*Glue Gun and LOTS of Glue Sticks

I simply started gluing my eggs around the wreath. I did not follow any sort of pattern, simply placed them where they were visually appealing. I did not cover the wreath with felt like I did for the ornament wreath, but if you wanted to do that to prevent any green foam from showing through that might be an added bonus in your end result. I do not, however, feel it is necessary.

Keep on gluing those eggs on! I was worried about the open spots when I was doing this, but as you continue to fill in with your eggs and stack them these become less noticeable.

VOILA! As you can see there are few "holes" and the wreath form does not show through (again, wrapping the form is felt is not necessary IMO). 

The entire project took only 45 minutes. It was super fast and easy (it requires NO skill), not to mention inexpensive (I did it for just $11...with tax!).

I had planned to replace my feather wreath with my new Easter egg wreath, but ended up loving how it looked as a base for my eggs tree so it is still sitting on my table.

This is a perfect addition to any Easter door or table and can be whipped up in no time!
