Valentine's Decor

I love to change out decor for the various seasons and holidays as you know. I am not always over the top (though my pink tree and Lilly Christmas was pretty intense) as less can be more when you are working with your everyday decor. Thankfully, my decor works extremely well with pink so I have enjoyed putting a few, small Valentine's touches out and around.

I posted about my Lilly heart garland a few years back. I made this with old Lilly wrapping paper (SO easy and inexpensive) and love how it just brightens up my fireplace. In looking at this photo I realize that Mr. Elephant needs a pink bow around his neck; I will get on that tonight!

Of course my paper addicted self has the old school Caspari napkins out for Valentine's day. I am also all about the candy as you can see. I had to refill the crown with pink heart chocolates that a dear reader sent me as I ate all the Sweettart hearts.... Opps!

I got this darling pink heart dish in the very first Pink Swap (I believe it was Preppy Pink Crocodile that sent it to me) and I love it! It is the perfect size to have out as you can fit almost an entire bag of Gobstopper hearts in it....it is all about the sweet, right?

I love filling apothecary jars with seasonal candy. I know this is nothing new, but it just makes me feel so happy and festive. I buy all my apothecary jars at Michael's where they are almost always 40% off (I usually pay $7 or less).

Now that I have my little decorations out of the way I can get serious about all the treats I am making and handing out...stay tuned!

I <3 to decorate for Valentine's Day. Your ideas are terrific. I also have a weakness for Caspari napkins. They're the best. Sweet idea to decorate w/ candy.
