KK is 33 and lives in Upstate New York, but she spent here childhood in FL. KK writes Preppy Pink Crocodile and was one of the very first "preppy" blogs I started to read. She was also my one of my very first swap partners (boy did she spoil me!) and that is how I really got to know KK. She truly has a heart of gold, is a woman of God and goes above and beyond for those she knows personally and those she has met through blogging!
Here is what KK has to say about herself:
I went to school in Indiana (Butler University) and Georgia (UGA). Moved to NY to be close to my family, though I fully admit I consider moving elsewhere on the East coast regularly. I spend my time volunteering for two organizations. As the Chapter Advisor for the local chapter of my college sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. Which is fun because I get to interact with college kids regularly and they keep me laughing and feeling young. And with the Junior League of Albany. I am on the board for the first time this year as the VP Community. Personality wise, I am a pretty good mix of Southern Belle and Yankee Doodle. I am a Christian who is striving (and admittedly often failing) to be closer to God every day and not just on days when I am begging for His assistance. I have a Godson and Goddaughter who are the light of my life! I am momma to one preppy puppy. I like coffee with cream, Diet Coke over ice and wine during JL meetings. I love college football and anything Olympic. I cook and sew and have two well-loved glue guns. I'm preppy and almost always wearing pink in some part of my attire because it just makes me happy.
KATE: nauticalbynature@gmail.com

Kate is 25 and after spending her college years in DC she has moved home to in Los Angeles, CA. Again, Kate's blog Nautical by Nature was one of the very first blogs I came across many moons ago. She was studying abroad in Australia (adventurous!) when I started reading and always took her readers on these amazing adventures. A year later we had the pleasure of meeting one another at the Martha Stewart Lilly Pulitzer show. It was such fun to finally put a person with their blog and Kate did not disappoint! She is caring (she is a nanny after all), funny and outgoing and always up for something new and exciting!

Here is what Kate has to say about herself:
I studied abroad in Australia, where I went skydiving (totally out of character but I absolutely loved it and would do it again!)
I am a Steelers fan and did my first year of fantasy football this year (definitely making it an annual tradition)
I've participated in several 5k's and am looking to get back into running.
I love to travel (favorite trip was a 3 week Mediterranean cruise with my sister)
I don't think it's a true weekend without going to at least 1 movie (preferably 2)
Family is very important to me. I am the youngest of three girls and will become an aunt next month.
Before I go onto graduate school in forensic psychology, I am doing my own “research” by watching every episode of Law and Order, CSI, and any other police drama!
Obsessions include: chocolate milk, the color pink, elephants, my DVR, and anything nautical.
Meghan: preppyinthepantry@gmail.com
Meghan and I actually met over email almost three years ago but really connected on Twitter last year and then finally met in person last December. She is genuine, but fun and loves to cook so her blog Preppy in the Pantry is perfectly named. Meghan was SO easy to talk to and she just makes you laugh. For some reason, I totally think of her a displaced Southerner since she has lots of charm too!

Here is what Meghan has to say about herself:
I currently live in NYC.
I love to ski. I have a house in VT and try to go every weekend.
I spend most of my summer living on a boat at the Jersey Shore. (I am a New Jersey native, after all)
My passion is food and cooking. I like to think I'm pretty good at, as I do have a culinary school degree.
I'm a huge Philadelphia Phillies Fan
I'm really into music and I always love a good cover band.
Lindsey: lindseylaurenhall@gmail.com
Lindsey grew up in Grand Forks, ND, but now lives in Dallas, TX. Lindsey is actually my roommate from college and I convinced her to move to Dallas three years ago. We met the first day of sorority rush when we were put next to one another in line and the rest is history. Lindsey is so outgoing and fun and she lives for a good hockey game.
Here is what Lindsey has to say about herself:
Though I grew up up North I love living in Dallas and have made a home for myself here. However, I am still an avid hockey fan and love a good game, especially a UND/UMN game (go Sioux!). Though it is my busy season at work I still enjoy being social on the weekends and love being out and about; I am 26 after all! When it comes to winding down I enjoy playing golf (I love Top Golf in Dallas), watching a good movie or catching up with old friends.

Um...you are pretty much the most fabulous friend ever! Thanks Hopsy!!
Lindsey seems like a good match for my friend Karl. He is number 25. His email address is karl.augspurger@gmail.com.
This is so sweet! I really love this idea of trying to hook up the single ladies via blogging. Love this post!!
H- You are TOO sweet!! You always have the kindest things to say about everyone!
As Hopsy and I both discussed, it's been a loooong week and I realized I forgot to include that I'm 29 and I live in NYC, in case anyone wanted to know.
I'm always open to meeting new people (in fact the first time I met Hopsy I had just been set up on a blind date!) so if you know anyone, please let me know!
Thanks again H! XX Meghan
Hopsy you are the best! Thank you for doing this!
What a sweet post about dear friends! I just started following your blog a few months ago and have loved every last post of it, so I've added theirs to my google reader as well. :)
Praying that all three will continue to trust in the Lord and His perfect timing for a spouse...maybe it will be because of this post!! :) In the meantime, it looks like they are doing a great job of representing the single stage of life!
What a fun post! I wish I knew someone for each of the girls.
What a fun idea! This is a lovely group of ladies.
Thank you for such a fabulous post Hopsy, both Pink Crocodile & Nautical by Nature are two of the very first blogs I ever read, those are two nifty ladies.
Sending you a smile,
tp
PS: It is I, cross my heart it is, Blogger won't let me comment in other than my other identity, arrggh!
Mr. Right is out there! Hang in there ladies!
This is such a great idea! I have been on the prowl for a single girl for an old school prep guy friend...I will have him have a peek at your blog!
So fun to get to know the people behind the blog! Wish I had someone for each of them
xoxo

This is such a neat idea!! Clearly we have never met but I do enjoy reading your blog on a daily basis! and I am single myself and as few have said in your comment section wait on the Lord for there is someone for everyone!!
Love the posts!!
Great idea! I am a loyal reader, not really a commenter. I actually went to college with one of your single ladies, Meghan. She and I were in some classes together, but were just acquaintances. I can tell you, though, that she is a very good person from what I knew of her then.
I started a blog over the summer, but cannot keep up with it AT ALL and I am sure no one is reading anyway. All of the lovely blogs you have on the sidebar are fantastic. Thanks for always posting:-)

Preppy Pink Crocodile and Nautical by Nature were some of the blogs I first read too. I got married at 32 and was lucky to have two children. My best advice is to put yourself in new surroundings. For me it was signing up for a class and this is where I met my husband. One year later we were married. I hope all you beautiful girls meet someone and fulfill your dreams - whatever they may be!
