After having received only positive emails about the Pink Swap up until last Friday I thought for sure the new "rules" had worked. Sadly, several "bad" experiences have been brought to my attention in the past few days. I wanted to publicly apologize to all those that were paired with someone that was unable to put forth any effort in this year's Pink Swap.
In my opinion there is NO excuse for not following through with your end of the bargain in the Pink Swap. The rules were posted numerous times and were VERY clear and you had several weeks to back out if needed.
To REGIFT items your partner sent YOU is not acceptable.
To send your partner BROKEN items is not acceptable.
To send OLD and DIRTY toys to a grown woman is also not acceptable.
I am saddened that I even have to post this, but some people seem to only want to receive and refuse to give and follow through with their end of the bargain. If you did not follow the swap rules (which can be found here) I encourage you to consider apologizing to your partner. No one that neglected to follow through with their end of the deal will be able to sign up for any future swaps I host and your names will be sent to all other blog hosts, per their request. Again, I apologize to those that got the short end of the stick and hope that this experience did not ruin swaps for you.
