The Junior League of Dallas is celebrating 90 years this year. Within JLD there are six issue areas with which members can volunteer in the community. In honor of the 90th anniversary of working with the Dallas community a video is being made for each issue area highlighting several of the organizations with which we work. I was thrilled that my current placement at Methodist Hospital was selected as one of the organizations to be featured in the "Health Issue Area" video and even more thrilled that I was able to play a key roll in the video. Even more exciting was that bff Cassie was asked to represent her placement of the Senior Source which falls into the same issue area so we got to be in the same video! Here is a glimpse into our placements and the Junior League of Dallas:

Love the video..I have been a proud member of Junior League for 15 years. My League time has been in four different states and London. With my husbands job that moves us everywhere it has always been the consistent thing in my life.I have made lifelong friends from all over the world through Junior League. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful work! I love that my committee in NYJL takes me into a city hospital to work.
Great video! I am a sustainer in the Kansas City, Missouri JL and we are celebrating our 100th anniversary beginning in 2013. We have been planning this celebration for the last 5 years and have made a gift of 1 million dollars to the KC Zoo for a new penguin exhibit. I am so honored to be a member of the JL and proud of all that we have accomplished in KC and AJLI as a whole.

Excellent video! I just transferred from the JL of Washington after 7 years to the JL of Philadelphia and continue to be impressed by the league!
