Pink Chinoiserie

You know I go week in the knees for anything chinoiserie. I have written about The Pink Pagoda on here before and just love everything in her etsy store. I was thrilled to recently win her print-of-choice giveaway on her blog. It was SO hard to pick just one favorite, but I ultimately went with Blue Willow Chinoiserie Platter in Bright Pink. I love my Blue Willow and the pink was just calling my name.

This weekend I decided this print was too lovely to not get up on the wall ASAP so I ran to Michael's in hopes they had a blue mat...since I am all about pink and blue everything these days the platter just needed a blue mat. To my surprise, they had numerous shades of blue, but the navy was what I had in mind so I snatched it up and went home and got to work:

I LOVE the way the pink pops against the blue; the print looks just perfect in the gold frame I think. Tres chic in my opinion. It had a happy place on my living area wall and is now waiting to be joined by some more chinoiserie prints.

A huge thank you to The Pink Pagoda for hosting such a fun giveaway! If you live in the Dallas area, be sure to pop into Lost this week. When I ran in on Saturday I was thrilled to see all TPP prints are buy one, get one! Time to stock up on gifts!

I really like the contrast of the pink and blue. Also ot reminds me of the Chinoiserie by Colonial Williamsburg patterns from Caspari! (that's a complement)
