Preview Photos

What a BUSY weekend it was (and HOT too!). The painters came on Thursday evening and were unable to finish (though my bedroom did get done) the entire condo. I had them paint the main wall of the living area so I could get a feel for the color and have to say I LOVE it! It goes with all my fabrics and is not too bright (it photographs brighter than it is). I went with the color "Scanda" by Sherwin Williams and adore it. I am excited for the entire living/dining area to be finished tomorrow.

Everything is still a MAJOR work in progress, but you can get an idea of the feel of the home from the photos hopefully.
I still have so much to do, organize, re-do (specifically have bamboo chairs painted either a high gloss white blue or pink) and hang, but things are really coming along. Considering I was in the most beautiful wedding this weekend (it deserves its very own post later this week) I am proud that I have unpacked all but one box!

The monkeys I got from Lilly serve at the PERFECT end tables! I purchased the love seat from Haverty's without seeing it or sitting in it but LOVE it! The color works perfectly in the room and the linen, canvas is comfy and good looking. It is the perfect piece for me!

The kitchen will also be primed and painted pink tomorrow and then I can start hanging all the blue and white on the walls.

While I LOVE blue and white I have to have a few pops of color in my life so I am having pillows made out of the above fabrics. The blue and white will actually be used for cushions for the bamboo chairs while the pinks will be used for sofa pillows. I cannot wait to see how everything comes together and will provide you with more updates later this week!
