Royal Wedding Favors

Back in 7th and 8th grade I was Bath and Body Works OBSESSED but, weren't we all? I had not gone into the stores for YEARS until they moved right across from Lilly Pulitzer at NorthPark a few years ago. They always have sort of sale going on and they are also next to Starbucks so I popped in one day during a break and have never looked back. I knew Bath and Body Works had been working with Henry Slatkin to create their new candle line and I simply love it. Now, I have not yet rekindle my love with all their body spritzers, but I have to say some of their shower gels are new favorites of mine as well. Also, I just adore their new summer packaging (it is extremely preppy...bight florals and even a pink and green combo) and I still have my eye on one of the candles that is housed in a ceramic pineapple (I featured this two years ago and never bought one, but they brought it back!). However, my new FAVORITE addition at Bath and Body Works is the Royal Wedding collection. Yes, they have an exclusive, limited addition collection for the April 29th festivities! The collection includes three hand sanitizers (right up my alley....) and four different lip glosses. The hand sanitizers are just $1 each! They would make for divine favors at your wedding watch party!

The lip glosses are also currently on sale. They are $8 each, but if you buy two you get one free. With names like "Kissed by a Prince" and "Princess in Training" they might seem juvenile, but these are right up this anglophiles' alley...how can you resist that flag?! I plan to stock up!
As mentioned, I will likely use some of these as favors at my watch party. They will look great in mini cello bags with red, white and blue ribbon and gift tags. I plan to make Union Jack tags and on the back write quotes from various Kings and Queens of England. More Royal Wedding party ideas to come. In the mean time get bring out the inner 13 year old within and get yourself to Bath and Body Works before all these well priced anglophile treats are gone!

I've just recently gone back to the B&BW shower gel as well ... but nothing can get me back to using Country Apple or Freesia body lotion again! :)

Thank you so much for posting about this. I am having a few of my best friends over to watch the wedding early that morning - I'm in Ohio - and these would be great to give as little favors.

Adorable post. Funny isn't it how walking through the doors of a store can bring back all those memories....

I love the B&BW hand sanitizers, they are the perfect size and have such nice scents: I'll have to look for the Royal Weddings ones!
When I was on vacation last week, they had "William and Kate Forever" mugs for sale in the UK pavilion in Epcot. I was very tempted but they were in rather ugly pastel pink and blue colors.
