Cupcake Exchange

This past Sunday I attended my very first ever cupcake exchange. Southern Vogue coined the idea quite some time ago and was the hostess with the mostess this past weekend.
I have attended many a cookie exchanges in my day, but this was my very first cupcake exchange and I have to say it was nothing short of amazing! Every guest brought a dozen cupcakes. You could either bake your own or stop by your favorite bakery and pick up a dozen of their staple. I LOVED the cupcake display- cupcakes, cupcakes everywhere!!!

The cupcakes were all set up in the darling kitchen while the savory eats could be found in the lovely dining room. The table looked divine and the red and white theme was carried out perfectly!

The oatmeal creme pies Southern Vogue made were to-die-for! They certainly put the Little Debbie goodies to shame!

After lots of fun and fellowship it was time to load up on cupcakes. Everything (minus my chocolate chip cookie cupcakes which were a total FAIL) looked so delicious...decisions, decisions had to be made.

I filled our baking box to the brim and have been enjoying my sweet treats ever since. The party was one of the best of the season and Southern Vogue certainly outdid herself with her creation of a cupcake exchange!
