Each and everyday was PACKED full of FUN in India until everyone became terribly ill with dengue fever. When you take a close look at the below photo you will see why there is a dengue outbreak in India...lots of standing water and NO spraying for mosquito's at all, anywhere.

The above photo is actually the area right by Mr. Battu's, the purse maker, shop. Incredible India...
Isn't it hard to believe that such BEAUTIFUL bags come from an alley near dengue breeding grounds?!
Mr. Battu has loads and loads of leathers in his shop. He keeps the basics upstairs in the main area and hides all the beautiful ostrich away for only his best clients. Above I am holding a lush she caramel lamb he got in. It was one of the softest leathers I have ever felt.
Once you choose your leather, hardware and style Mr. Battu gets to work upstairs in his shop. He is so amazing that he can turn things around in just ONE day!
Tomorrow I will spoil you with photos of what exactly Mr. Battu turned around for Cassie and I this time!

I look forward to your photos, I have a weakness for handbags!
Girl, that leather looks buttery soft, like one of my red purses except it's brown. You made some great finds.
How fascinating!
