I always love browsing the new selection of Hermes scarves when they hit stores. This past Spring was no exception and I was so excited to see I no longer needed an extra 10k in my bank account to own an Hermes Kelly... may I introduce the Tres Kelly scarf by Hermes.
The Tres Kelly scarf has the iconic Kelly bag straps and clasps strewn throughout (strewn should be used lightly in the situation as I am not sure anything Hermes can really be as such, but you get the idea). The scarf is available in numerous sizes and multiple colors starting just around $300.
Do you know how the Kelly bag got its' name?
When Princess Grace was pregnant she would often used her beloved crocodile Hermes bag to hide her stomach from the paparazzi. Well, a photo of her doing such landed on the cover of Life magazine in the mid 1950's. By holding the bag as such Princess Grace gave it a prominent spot on the cover of Life and in no time woman everywhere were yearning for a piece of Hermes. The bag, which had originally been named Sac a Depeches in the 1930's, was renamed "the Kelly" in honor of the Princess. The iconic bag is on display at the V&A through September 26th, 2010.

Beautiful. This may sound silly, but I never know how to wear scarves. I feel "old" doing so, and don't know the modern way to wear them and look chic. Would you consider some fashion shots of you wearing scarves and give us some examples of how to do so?

Did you get to see the Grace Kelly exhibit at the V&A? It was so lovely!
I made a beeline for the Kelly bag when I visited the V&A last week during my London vacation. It actually wasn't displayed as a highlight of the exhibit, but kind of tucked to the side - I was surprised!
