Movie Screening!

Well, in case you did not already know... I am here to reiterate that nothing is impossible! As you know I have been so excited to see Eat, Pray, Love and had been crossing my fingers for Dallas screening tickets. I had entered two online contests to win passes. On Monday night I found out I lost the first and then yesterday I received an email telling me I had one two passes for the second. However, after reviewing my schedule I realized I would not be able to attend. Well, after ALL that work I was not about to miss out so I got busy and found out there was an earlier screening. After numerous emails I am thrilled to report I was able to get a new ticket for said earlier screening of Eat, Pray, Love!
Little did I know the screening was a private screening hosted by a local radio station and Entertainment Weekly. I was only of 15 people in the theater; what a unique experience!
In my Indian inspired outfit.
My shirt has elephants all over it (I will be dedicating an entire post to the wonderful company that made it), my purse is from India and I wore my gold Toms.
Now, I do not want to ruin the movie for anyone, but I will admit I LOVED Pray (India) and Love (Bali). I was highly entertained by the CT wedding scene during Pray...they panned the room and showed all the guests numerous times. Oh, to think you all could have been hunting for mother- ha! If I can give you just one tip it would be to eat before you go. Otherwise your mouth will be watering the entire first half! The scenery was divine (India was especially lovely), Julia was fabulous as always and Eat, Pray, Love was a wonderful movie overall!

I'm looking forward to seeing this with my girlfriend. My husband opted out of this one. He's such a trooper when it comes to chick flicks, but when my friend mentioned her interest, he suggested I see it with her! Haha!

Love the elephant top! perfect for a GOP event for me. Looking forward to learning more about where i can buy it!

Thank You! Finally someone who enjoyed this movie. I went to see it and I absolutely loved it. I posted about it on my blog and got a bunch of, "hated it, walked out on it, didn't care for it, etc..." comments. I was stunned. Did I miss something? Did I have a fainting spell and miss some terrible line or awful part? I just don't get it. I started thinking I must be a little shallow in the brain because I failed to see what was bad about it. So, again, I'm happy to see that someone else liked it as much as I did. I, of course, wanted to go home and cook a bunch of pasta afterward though.
