Today is the National Day of Praying. I will be praying for our nation, all of our leaders, all of those who are serving our country and for each of its' citizens (that is many of you!)! Something I learned at Greystone why back when that I still use to this day when I pray is the term JOY. JOY stands for:Jesus first: give thanks for all Jesus has done for you!
Others second: pray for those around you!
Yourself third: Put yourself at the end of your prayer list!
No matter where you may be today remember there is no prayer too big or too small!!!

I completely forgot about The National Day of Prayer, with the flooding in Nashville and surrounding areas it completely slipped my mind.

I wish I had known... not that I don't pray every single day - sometimes all day - but, I did not realize that it was a National Day of Prayer - would have loved to have posted. Your post was beautiful - thank you. Now I will just have an excuse for my own blog prayer day.
