I grew up all over the South and in Central America. I spent my high school years at a boarding school in CT before heading off to college in VA. However, after a year I transfered to MN and pledged Kappa and graduated (a semester early!)with majors in Art History and Spanish. My life is simply amazing and I am SO incredibly blessed to have a loving family, marvelous friends and the best job in the world. I adore sweets, all things pink and green, a good movie, trying new restaurants and a great DIY project.
This is where Hubby and I spent our 10th wedding anniversary last October! I got a little weepy just seeing the photos. One of my all-time favorite places.
So pretty! My favorite is the pink sofa in the room with the green wall. Ahhh, I would love to be there, a moment of peace in a crazy world....by the way do you ever watch "moment of luxury"? I saw it on PBS, it looks good.
Your visit to the Greenbrier sounds divine. Dave and I went 5 years ago for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was December (we were married Dec 2nd) and decorated for Christmas which was lovely but it did overshadow some of the regular decor...which I was interested in. If we still lived in VA we would bring the children there annually. It is such a great place.

oh my gosh the rooms are so beautiful - it just takes my breathe away.
Love all of this pink and green. My favorite piece is the white chair with the green and white striped cushion. Just lovely!
Wonderful shots...I LOVE the blue and white lamps! xx
It's a perfect example of this kind of style. Archetypal, one might say.
