Mascara

Let me start by saying I have never ever been a makeup guru. I have used the basics and that is it. I mean, I rarely even wear eye shadow. I do, however, always wear mascara. I have tried Bobbi Brown, Chanel, YSL and most recently Dior Show. I have not had major issues with any of the above, but I was also never 100% satisfied. A few weeks ago I was in the market for a mascara refill and happened to read Kim's post on her favorite brand. Since I just so happened to be running to Target later that afternoon I decided to give her beloved L'Oreal Telescopic mascara a whirl...
... and I do not think I will EVER look back! Not only is is nice and compact, but most importantly is is easy to apply with it's bristle-less brush- applications have been flawless thus far. it also lasts ALL day and it elongates your lashes and for $7 a tube it cost about a 1/4 or a 1/5 of everything else I have used. I feel like I have been missing out all these years! My eyes finally look a bit more, dare I say, "done up" and I never have to re-apply mascara during the day. Rarely do I even have to re-curl! L'Oreal Telescopic mascara is definitely my new go to mascara (thank you Kim!!)!

Ohh good to know! I always use the "free" mascara that comes in the Clinique free bonus gifts!

I love mascara wands with the little rubber spikes instead of bristles- sooo much easier!

My comment to you before I even read the post was..."Kim turned me onto L'Oreal telescope and I will never switch!"I think she should be on their payroll or at least get some freebies! lol

This helps me so much! I have been looking for a new mascara!

You might like DiorShow Iconic. It's got a plastic brush which is much thinner than DiorShow. It's a whole different experience. :)

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!!! I just tried it a few months ago and I will NEVER switch!! Best mascara EVER!!

That's my favorite too. Although it is messy to remove- you definitely have to use eye makeup remover with it.

I am also a convert thanks to Kim's post! I do have to apply carefully...once I was a little heavy handed, a bit of a Tammy Faye moment!

Right now I've been wearing Bobbi Brown party mascara and it's just ok. I do like Dior Show, but I'll have to give this L'Oreal a try!

Ohhh, I'm going to try that the next time I'm in Target.

I love it when the best is also one of the cheapest! I have been searching for the right mascara and will try this next. I recently found that olay regenerist moisture cream is better than all the expensive wrinkle/anti aging products I have used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised!

You can go to the L'oreal site and register and get a $100 off any product coupon so your mascera would only be $6. It is really nice mascera. I had one by Bare Minerals that had the wand with no bristles and I loved it!!

Thanks! I'll have to try it. I have eye sensitivities/allergies, so I have to switch my mascara more often than usual - this way I won't be spending that much! I had been using Trish McEvoy, which I like but don't love.

I was at the store the other day trying to remember which brand of mascara Kim had recommended. Thanks for the reminder! Can't wait to try it.
