I was SO excited to be reading kp's blog on Friday and see she had posted the Eat, Pray, Love trailer. I am SO excited for this movie for a number of reasons. First, I am reading the book so of course that makes me want to see it. Second, it was filmed in India. In fact, lots in New Delhi!! Finally, mother tried out for this movie!!! While she did not in fact get a speaking role she was sent a script and she did go in for an audition. She was later called about being in a wedding scene and she turned it down (GASP, right!?) as she was already quite busy the day they were filming. However, she said it was not meant to be as the air conditioning ended up not working where they were filming said wedding scene. In the end she was most excited to help one of the Marines at the Embassy try out for the role of DJ. Several of mother's friends and many expats acquaintances are in the movie so I can hardly wait for this to hit theaters!!

This movie looks great! I always love Julia Roberts too. I need to borrow Adelaide's book and read it before I see the movie. Have a nice week. Love & blessings from NC!

:)
I need to read this book. My dil gave it to me a while back, but I haven't gotten to it yet. And with that disaster in Congress tonight, we better eat, pray, and love more than ever. xoxo
I had not seen the trailer yet, thanks! I read this book two summers ago and fell in love so I was thrilled to see it was being turned into a movie! And the fact that it has Julia Roberts is even better. I can't wait!
Very exciting! Looks great!
I loved the book! I am very excited to see this movie!!
I heard that if you've read the book you won't like the movie.
This movie looks great, and I simply adore Julia Roberts! I'm going to the library at lunch to see if they have this book!
I CANNOT wait to see this!

this movie looks great!
i didn't love the book, but it keeps pulling me back -- I need to give it another try before the theater!
i am so excited too... I loved this book! and LOL at Preppy 101's comment!
I just saw the trailer last night as well! But, I'm a little on the fence, I really didn't care for the book (having said that, I have her second book in our office waiting for me to read.) But since they say the book is always better than the movie, and I didn't care for the book, maybe I will like the movie!
I love the quote that the trailer ends with
"If you could clear up all that space in your mind, you'd have a doorway. And you know what the universe would do?! RUSH IN! Everything else will take care of itself."
How exciting!
I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie. I love Julia Roberts and the preview makes it look so captivating!
I can't wait to see this movie! I adore Julia! I should probably get the book and read it first....books are always better than the movies!
Oh wow, I really want to see this. I love nationless films...and Julia Roberts is a SCORE in my book. Love her!
