Cake Balls!

Monday evening I put my kitchen to good use and made 90 cake balls! I made both Funfetti and red velvet to serve at my Tory Burch party. I am thrilled with how they turned out and think I am well on my way to finally figuring out how to properly coat the cake balls!

They look wonderful!
Do you have any tips you could share on how to coat the cake balls? I made them this past weekend and had some trouble getting the chocolate to coat the entire ball. Perhaps I should try almond bark?

I love cake balls. I made them once for hubs to take to a work function. He said everyone loved them. They are a lot of work but well worth it. I like them on the smaller side because by the time you get the coating on they're pretty rich...Sharon

Thay are adorable - Please post the coating tip! During the blizzard last week, I made banana cake/cream cheee frosting balls and then dipped them in peanut butter/milk chocolate chips. I had a bit of trouble coating the whole ball.

They look great! I made some for Valentine's Day and did the trick you recommended of using butter and milk. They tasted great.

I hope you had wonderful birthday!

I haven't made these yet, but I am absolutely obsessed with the Oreo Truffles. Yum. Maybe I should make a batch this afternoon?
