Snapshots of India

It has been a very busy and VERY fun week in India!! Mother and I have been busy getting loads done around town while father has been tied up and then we have enjoyed loads of time a family too. Below are a few snapshots from my time in Delhi!
Pottery stands are set up in a certain area of town. Mother and I went to buy plant pots and I could not resist grabbing two small elephants to bring home to Dallas. Isn't this a fun display?
Cricket and polo are the hot sports in India. I could not resist capturing these children playing cricket when we went to purchase pottery.
On New Year's day we enjoyed a fabulous brunch at our beloved Oberoi. Without knowing father, mother and I all coordinated with green!
This is how cement is mixed in Delhi...
I could not resist this large pink and green elephant piece. It is all hand done and simply beautiful! Don't you love all the vibrant colors here? This was one of MANY stands.
My FAVORITE new Soma print for Spring. I just cannot get enough!
After a quick afternoon of local shopping father and I enjoyed tea at our other favorite Delhi hotel, the Imperial. The hotel is home to a HUGE lithograph collection (only the Queen herself owns more) as well as this vintage Jag.
I hope your 2010 is off to as fantastic of a start as mine!!!

Yes, Father is handsome, you are adorable, as usual, but Mother's outfit is absolutely classic, classy and stunning. I'd like to see more posts on her in the future!

thanks for sharing your pics of India....spectacular! I found India amazing in the movie...The Darjeeling Limited w Owen Wilson & Adrien Brody...rather silly in parts but it really shows the landscape. Check it out!

Stay safe! Happy New Year!

Looks like so much fun. I'm an elephant addict-decorated my sons nursery in it (not pink and green). Love the pics. xoxo
