Well, Christmas 2009 has come and gone, but I neglected to give you all a glimpse of my gifts since I was in India. I really love everything I got this year. As always, everyone around me is far, far too kind and I feel so very blessed!
This is a terrible photo of this darling Indian cut out, but this is ALL done by hand! Mother picked out an elephant for me to honor my first elephant ride last year and then picked out pink and green silk matting. It is simply stunning!
When I was in India last June I fell in love with a peacock tablecloth the linen man brought to our house. However, the size and colors were not right. No need to fret because I was surprised with pink and green peacock hand towels! I am thinking I might need to order cocktail napkins to match.
More pink and green elephants...but this time in the form of pajamas!!
I have saved the best for last today!Mother designed these earrings and they are TO.DIE.FOR! I am in love with them and know they will get one too many wears. Well, maybe not one too many for this pink and green loving lady. Again, you can have anything made in India...handbags, jewelry, silk frame mats, clothing, furniture and on and on the list goes.
2009 was a spectacular year filled with so much fun and many happenings. I feel so blessed to have been so spoiled throughout the year and again at Christmas. I simply adore each and every gift and cannot wait to show you more tomorrow!
