I arrived in India with almost no hitch (if you follow me on Twitter you already read of the drama with American Airlines). It is so wonderful to be here (even it is a tad chilly) and I have had such fun thus far! On Sunday mother took the family on a tour of Old Delhi. Mother had given a British Raj period tour to about forty women earlier in the month and she kindly recreated this AMAZING experience for us (if you are ever in Delhi I can happily arrange for you to go on this tour as well- it was phenomenal and is not to be missed!). While touring Old Delhi we spotted loads of monkeys playing:
Aren't the babies just the cutest little things you have ever seen!?
These two were hopeful we had some bananas...maybe next time I will come prepared.
Yesterday, mother took me to ribbon and trim heaven! The best part is that you get yards and yards and yards for no more than $3...of course I loaded up!
Nestled into an alleyway of ribbon and trim heaven was a beautiful row of homes. As I have sad before, the details can make or break it. Yesterday was also our precious bulldog's birthday.
Of course this called for a photo with Winston Mortimer and Augusta Winifred (please disregard the white wall behind me, the apartment is a work in progress), the sweetest pups in all of India!
