Blue and White Delight!

This is for all you John Rosselli and Bunny Williams lovers!
Last weekend was Rock the Red Door which is the Gilda's Club Young Leadership Board event I have helped with. While the Spazmatics were the highlight of the evening (if you live in TX and have yet to see them, you MUST go!) there was also an auction. Ever since I helped with the Kappa auction I am a huge auction advocate. Not only do 100% of the proceeds often go directly to charity, but there are some GREAT deals. We are talking steals of deals! I sure got lucky at the RTRD auction and paid about 25% something's worth for an item!
As soon as I saw the above blue and white item I loved it. Then, I read that is was from John Rosselli so I immediately became obsessed and knew I had to own it! I bid and was out bid and just happened to find this out right before the auction ended to I bid again and WON! I was beyond excited and of course had to make a call to India to share the good news with my mother, a fellow John Rosselli fan. After finding out mother has wanted one of these wonderful blue and white items all her life I have decided to give it to her as she will surely enjoy it and it will hopefully someday come back to me. Now, moral of the story is always BID BID BID at these auctions! You can walk away with creme de la creme items and also donate to a cause!!

Congrats on your win!
LOVE the Spazmatics!!! They played my husband's club's deb ball a couple of years ago. We danced to the 80's tunes ALL night long!!! :)

Such a great find! I love the Spazmatics too. We've seen them twice now, once at wedding! Sooo fun! Who can resist a good 80's tune?

I almost bid on a David Yurman bracelet last year at a charity auction but I decided against it because it was so similar to one I already had. To this day I regret it because I could have gotten it for $150. Lesson learned!

What a sweet, kind gesture to give this to your mother! You just know how much it will mean to her. I bet she was beyond excited. xoxo
