I LOVE sweets- love, love, love them! I always like to stock up on seasonal candy and have it here and there. However, for some reason I had nowhere to display the bags and bags of pumpkins and candy corn that I purchased this year. I looked into getting a cute, themed dish, but did not find anything I loved. I had just about given up and decided I would save my candy stock for selfish me when went through my console on Saturday evening. I suddenly remembered I had a huge silver plated bowl that would be perfect!
I filled the bowl right on up to the brim and it looks divine! Now, rather than another seasonal bowl, I have a sophisticated yet fun look this Halloween! You just can never go wrong with silver, so chic and always timeless!

This is SUCH A Ralph Lauren thing! I have read several accounts of his office having silver bowls brimming with M&M's. Have to admit that I do too as it's a use for what normally sits in the china cabinet. On the down-side: the children have disovered my secret (even though it's on a high bookcase shelf)and it's usually gone by the time I want some. :(

Lisa is right...in the RL stores, Ralph has a ton of little silver bowls around with goodies in them.
I got this clear glass (with lid) pumpkin for $5 at WW and am going to put some candy corn in it.
Now just mix some lightly salted cocktail peanuts in with your candy corn and you will have a super tasty treat!
