This weekend I am off to Omaha, NE for the very first time. I am attending a Kappa wedding and am SO exciting to see the girls from my pledge class as well as other Kappas (I have not see some of these blue and blue, fleur de lis loving ladies in almost THREE years!). As you know I purchased the Saemus some time ago and plan to wear it to the grand event. I think it will be perfect with my gold Lilly shoes and Mizner clutch!
The wedding is sure to be a fabulous time- it is a KKG/SAE wedding. If you have any "musts" for Omaha or if you are in the Omaha area do drop me a line. We should have a bit of free time before the wedding so perhaps we can even meet up!

Where is the wedding?! You should absolutely go to the Old Market & eat at M's Pub {so fun & delish food}. Darios & Amsterdam in Dundee are great as well. There's the Homy Inn for champagne on tap {so hilarious}, & of course any bar in the city on Saturday as it's Husker football Game #1 of the season, ha! Either way Omaha is truly beautiful & fun...I'm so glad you'll be visiting my town. Have fun and let us know all about your trip when you get back!
PS...if your friends are getting married here, I'm sure they know all the hotspots, as Omaha's pretty small. Can't wait to hear where all you go!!

What a beautiful dress, you will look lovely. I am headed out of town myself this weekend and debated what Lilly for church! Tickled Pink & Green is correct, I am from Nebraska (and a Kappa). Hmmmm, wonder if any of my sisters will be there? Entirely possible since my daughter is 22. If you want a famous Omaha steak and the possibility of rubbing elbows with Warren Buffet, I suggest Piccolo Pete's $16.95 special. Our baseball team saw him there when we were in Omaha for the CWS. He lives near my Kappa pledge mom's childhood home....her mother and both grandmothers were Sigma chapter Kappas, too. Enjoy your weekend--it's supposed to be cool, but nice accoding to my liv in weatherman. DOTR is flying into Omaha early Sat am for the Husker game.
I am from Omaha!! Old Market is cute. If you need any ideas on where to stay or anything let me know! There are some really cute boutiques there if you have time to shop. My favorite is Tracadero (in the old market) and one of my friends owns a bakery (Bickford Bakery) you should go and get a cake-tini (they are little cake balls and are to die for!)
