It is still pouring rain in Dallas! Thankfully the weather 'brightened' up for just a bit on Saturday evening so I was able to attend the Brad Paisley concert so I mustn't complain (the concert was amazing and super patriotic...just up my alley!). Today, in honor of the cloudy skies, I sported a very pink and green outfit to brighten up a dreary Monday. I wore my Lilly Pulitzer Sabine dress, pink Hunters, carried my pink patent Mar-a-Lago Lilly bag, had my pink Blackberry in hand along with my Lilly Pulitzer tumbler in Trouble Hibiscus. I also could not leave home without my green North Face Venture jacket and my Lilly umbrella (mine is a slightly different pattern, hot pink with monkeys, circa 2006) and of course my pearls! I think I most certainly embraced the wet weather in true preppy!

It POURED all weekend in New Orleans. I hope the fact that it's still raining there doesn't mean that we have more on the way :(

I'm more of a NY version prep--Burberry umbrella, beige trench or Black North Face rain jacket like yours/black Hunter boots/sparkle Starbucks travel cup...I really need a Lilly tumbler! I love the colors but I especially love the dress as it reminds me of a RL one that I wore in junior high to a dance back in the 80's!! Love to see how things always come back.
