WARNING: The following photos may be very upsetting to some.
We LOVE our darling Winston Mortimer, who is also known as Bubby. I am convinced that English bulldogs are the CUTEST puppies! Look at him at 3 months old, don't you agree?
How could you ever hurt that sweet, wrinkled face?! Oh, I just will never know!
Churchill is a sweet English bullie who was subjected to terrible wounds (his owner apparently set him on fire). He has been rescued and is currently in recovery, however it will take an estimated $10,000 (yes, you read that correctly, $10,000) to get him back to his old self. Churchill the bullie needs your help!
So, here is you way to get involved (the following was taken from Her Southern Charm): In order to enter you must donate at least $10 to Churchill's Fund. If you can, please consider more! :) All payments must go to Churchill's Paypal account. You can either click on the Paypal button on HSC's sidebar or send money to helpchurchill@gmail.com. She will be entering all those who donate into the drawing for one of the three awesome swag bundles shown below. Send your Paypal receipt to helpchurchill@gmail.com so I can see that you have indeed made a donation and I will enter you! Please make sure that you use the correct email address so I can contact you if you win!! :) All donations must be in by October 18th.
Please note that 100% of your donations will be going to Churchill's recovery and none of these wonderfully generous sponsors were paid anything to donate- it was all done out of the kindness of their hearts. Please please support them by visiting their businesses.
Thank you so much for giving to a sweet innocent dog who only want pain free life and loving home. Your donations are going to make this happen for him!

Look at all these AMAZING bundles- I think you know which one I have my eye on!! Now, off to Paypal you go to donate to the sweet Churchill! He needs YOU to make his way to recovery!

H, I am so glad sweet little Churchill's story is getting around. When I read HerSouthernCharm's tragic post my heart just melted for the precious boy! Hope all is well!-Grace
Bulldog puppies are the cutest! Such a sad story about Churchill.
I have a Westie and best friend has a Bulldog and they are the best of friends. I'll pass the info on Churchill to her as well. Thank you for posting about him.
People can also donate directly.

I will be making a donation first thing in the morning in honor of my dog Cleo (the St. Bernard) that passed away the first of this year. My heart breaks for Churchill, but celebrates all of those who give up that manicure or latte this week in honor of all mistreated and homeless unloved animals. Thanks for getting involved and getting this story out.
Hugs and kisses to Churchill!
I just donated. Thank you so much for posting about this. I love English Bulldogs so much and this just pulls at my heart. Please keep us updated!!!!
Oh my. I will totally donate!! Poor little guy. I love dogs. Mine just passed away 2 months ago after we had had her for 12 years. She was a humane sociaty dog. I love rescue dogs. They need good homes too.
Thank you for posting this information, it's really tragic. Doing what can be done is so important.
It pains me to see this! I am convinced after owning several dogs, that they all go to heaven, no questions...period. They are like children, and I will donate, not for a gift, but because this is just wrong. Thank you for posting!
So Sad about Churchhill. My husband adores bulldog's. I have a westie who we love! Keep us updated on Churchhill's status.
I adore English bulldogs. I certainly hope the former} "owner" is going to do some prison time.
Heartbreaking to keep hearing about the horrific crimes against the innocent; seems they are becoming worse and worse. I will most definitely make a donation. Bless you for sharing this!
Oh My! I work as a fundraiser at BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter) and we had a similar case this past June. Unfortunately, "Phoenix" did not make it. It is important for everyone to know that when a mistreated animal comes to a shelter, everything possible is done to save its life, but shelters have small budgets.... This is why donating even a small gift can go a long way! I will be making my donation :>) Animal Cruelty is a horrific crime. I hope the person who hurt this precious pup is caught and prosecuted!
I sent my donation last week, this just breaks my heart! I can't imagine if anything happened to my little pup!
oh that poor dog. so sad.
