Sadly, this is the only photo I took at my Cinco de Mayo FIESTA! I was very busy cooking and entertaining guests so photos were not really my priority, sorry! Anyway, you can get an idea of my pink and green fiesta from these. The plates are no longer fully stocked, but there were plain cheese quesadillas, bean and cheese quesadillas then the build your own nachos and Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes with Buttercream! I had tried to figure out the perfect way to do the build your own nachos and in the end I went with putting out the chips and all the cheeses and just having guests microwave their plate. I know it sounds a bit ghetto, but when you have people coming and going this was the most practical thing to do and that way every plate was fresh. it worked perfectly and I would highly suggest this for any future fiesta you may have! I hope you had a delightful evening too. I am off to bed as tomorrow is a big day, but a very exciting one!!!Wednesday, May 6, 2009

Love it! You're the hostess with the mostess! Looks like a very sucessful fiesta was had by all.
BTW-I've had a few nacho bars and I've found the stainless Cheese and Fondue set at Crate & Barrel work well (no need for forks). I also have/use the Chantal ceramic (with single candle) more than I ever dreamed. Those things you think you'll never use but are so handy when the time comes! ;-)
Yum, sounds delicious and what a cute table! We had a fiesta too, chicken fajitas, mexi rice and a banana spice cake for dessert! I love a good theme dinner :)
