Nicole in Michigan asked: Do you have any secrets for staying so slim? I know you recently joined a gym, so I'm sure that helps. I'm just always looking for tips, etc.
Thank you so much for you kind words Nicole! I am honestly much more average than slim so I guess one secret would be flattering clothing. I have a very small waist and chest, but not the prettiest hips. I therefor try to draw the focus to my upper half when I get dressed. Also, as you mentioned I do belong to a gym and try and go at least five times a week. I love going to Spin amongst other classes, but also love the treadmill. My mother told me the secret to the treadmill was the incline. I power walk on a high incline and work those hips! Finally, I love to eat (I have a weakness for sweets!) and enjoy going out for a meal. I normally try and save eating out for the weekends. I typically have a latte in the morning, then a little of this and a little of that (think pita chips, a piece of cheese, some fruit and a handful of nuts) for lunch. I than have a small afternoon snack (another handful of nuts or a cookie) and then go without dinner. I am just not hungry in the evenings so unless I have dinner plans or am famished I typically go without this meal.
Linda asked: You are so beautiful....what is your make-up, beauty, hair routine?
Another ultra kind comment, thank you Linda! I went over my hair routine here so if you are looking for a detailed description please refer to this post. As far as make-up I am a Bobby Brown girl. I am very simple and have under eye concealer, foundation, bronzer, blush, my shimmer brick (I use the white under my eyes and the entire brick on my cheeks) and then an eye lash curler and mascara. I do also try and put on sunscreen everyday to protect my skin and I also am currently using a wonderful line of skin products from the Dead Sea, but for the past few years was a fan of Proactiv.
Allison asked: What are your favorite catalogs and magazines?
Gosh it is so hard to pick one! However, I simply adore Town and Country and have subscribed since boarding school. I also really like a very preppy magazine called Quintessential (Q Magazine). It is somewhat hard to come by in stores, but they often put every issue up online. I also love Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, House Beautiful, W and Architectural Digest.
