NYC!!

C and I at Rockefeller Center this past February- all my recent NYC trips have been Lilly related!
In just 5 days I will have landed in the city that never sleeps! I am SO thrilled to squeeze in a quick trip to the city with mother before she departs for India for FIFTEEN years (boo hoo hoo, all along for Easter and Thanksgiving I will be!). I CANNOT wait to hit up our favorite restaurants, La Gouloue and Payard here we come! Then of course I am BEYOND excited to attend Martha Stewart and host my event at the Lilly Pulitzer townhouse on Tuesday evening. I am packing everything in just as I love to do (remember my day trip to Paris); you might as well pack it all in while you can! Tuesday, we will land, check in to the one and only Towers, head to the Frick Collection and the MET. We will likely pop in many of our favorite shops on our way up the UES too. Then we have dinner followed by the FABULOUS Lilly event! If you have not yet RSVPed please do so, you simply MUST RSVP to attend this fun meet and greet! On Wednesday we will be up early and get all decked out in Lilly. We will attend the taping (Martha and Lilly together at last- a dream come true for Hopsy!) and then is it off to the UES side yet again. We will grab a quick bite and pick up some treats to take home to MN and TX and shop a little more before saying goodbye (boo hoo hoo again- mother leaves April 2nd and who knows when I will see her again this year!) and heading off. It is sure to be the BEST two days a preppy, Lilly, Martha, NYC loving mother and daughter could ask for!

I love the Frick and the Met! The Frick reminds me of looking at art in someone's beautiful and grand home.

Hopsy, Since Catherine's went out of business, can you PLEASE get your mother to start her own line of bags while she is in India. I (as well as the other commenters) adore the purse you are carrying, and I just know it's from your favorite store in Paris! Your mom would have quite a following here in the states already!! See what she's thinks while you're in NYC! Enjoy your trip and your last weekend with your mom.
