As you now know I have given up buying material things for Lent. Well, because of this I really lived it up on Monday and decided I should drive to the J Crew outlet in Allen. It is only 25 minutes away and though it is outside my little bubble the trip was well worth it! If you have an outlet SPEED over. Ours was fully stocked, but I am sure come the weekend it will be very picked over.
I am a bit obsessed with the City Fit Cafe Capri. I am not even going to tell you how many I own because you would surely judge me. However, these pants are like Lilly shifts; they are perfectly comfortable and can be dressed up and down. I ADORE the green and teal patterned pair as well as the raspberry (it is a hot pink, not a red).
I also picked up the black and white check and the yellow and white lattice capris. Won't these look darling with my Lilly Nancy sweaters or a solid polo?!
I have saved the best for last: my new Fiona jacket! I searched high and low for one in white last year and finally got one from the Mall of America store while home. It was the last one in stock, it was a size too big, but I loved it SO much that I made it work. Fast forward to Monday when I popped in the Crew and they had every size white, navy and papaya Fiona for 30% off! I wanted to buy the papaya too, but had to remind myself that two Fionas is plenty.Now I am sure you are wondering how much I spent. Well, dear friends I got all of the above plus a pair of white Cafe capris and two pairs of socks for just over $200! Now you see why I am telling you to run to your nearest J Crew outlet, right!?

ah what great purchases! We have one in Napa but i'm always too lazy to go in fear that the trip won't be worth it, though it's not too long.
I have the City Fit Cafe Capri in every color! including the red, but I don't have any print ones which I would kill for! I guess I'll really have to go to the outlet :)

Thank you thank you thank you! I just called and ordered the Fiona jacket I have been longing for and some of the city fit capris. I can't wait to get them. I don't have a pair of the capris yet but will probably wish I'd ordered more colors. Did I say Thank you?!
I've been meaning to go to the outlet malls. I can't get to Allen until this weekend when everything will be picked over. Boo.

I work part time at the San Marcos outlet purely for the discount, but we have the most wonderful things right now! I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Anyone reading who doesn't already know, show a student id or anything that says you work for a school and you can get a 15% off discount on everything every time from all J.Crews.
Great finds! I'm obsessed with those capris too! My closet is full of Cafe Capris! Such a perfect fit! I have a ton, I'm always afraid they are going to discontinue the style.

Love it all! I wish our outlet was closer than 2.5 hours away! I feel like 5 hours in a day is a bit much... even for JCREW.

You got some pretty great deals! I don't have a J Crew outlet near me, but there is one where we go skiing. I was up there over my kids' school vacation and have to say they did not have much. I ended up with a pair of madras shorts and a belt. Was pretty disappointed.
We are heading up to ski again tomorrow, so I will definitely put it on the agenda to get back to the outlet. Hope they have the same selection you had.

Great finds! I love the city fit capri as well but am on the short side so I have to hem them. I'm hitting the j.crew outlet this weekend - hope I find some great deals as well!

The outlet mall with a JCrew nearest me, the Seattle Premium Outlets, was well stocked on my last trip and I got (among other things) two shirts, each for only $5 each. Seriously!!! $5!!! I kept asking the cashier if it was a joke.
I also scored a Kate Spade purse for $95 which just makes me as giddy as a kid at Christmas.
Ahhhh, outlet malls are wonderful places!

I love the city fit cafe capris - they just fit perfectly and are the perfect length for me. I think I have the same raspberry color from last year! I'm going away next weekend skiing and hope they have some good J Crew outlet finds when I'm there.
The Fiona jacket was one of my favorites this season! I'm so sad that I don't own one myself :-(

I love the J Crew outlet. We have one not far from us. I got some adorable sweaters for spring there not long ago for less than $20 each. (turquoise and hot pink) Teachers and students get an extra 15% off!!!

i ran to my nearest outlet today! and i bought those yellow capris, let me tell you i tried on the paisley ones and loved them, but my friend that went shopping with me told me her 50 something year old mother owned them, and it made me put them back, but now i want them again! haha...
Man, I gave up shopping at JCrew too and only wish I stacked up the day before :( I bought the Fiona at an outlet in Vegas. Very cute. It was my first time to their outlets.
Don't you love the outlets? I have several pairs of the City Fit Cafe Capris and am a huge fan, too! You got some great, great stuff. I would get in the car and drive to my store, but I'm currently snowed in. I just have to keep reminding myself that spring IS on it's way and we can wear our cute new stuff!
