Well friends it is OPEN LINE FRIDAY (just like Rush Limbaugh has!).I have thought long and hard about this and have finally decided in honor of the end of my birthday month I am following suit and hosting question time!! I have loved reading others posts and getting to know them better. So many of you often ask questions in comments that I have yet to answer. As a reader you may leave ONE question on this post that I will in turn answer. Obviously, only questions that are deemed appropriate will be answered, but I do not intend for that to be an issue. You will ask and I will answer!!!

Hopsy, where do you work? In other words, what kind of work do you do? We can't wait to hear!
I saw in a couple of pictures that your real name is Helen, which I love. I was wondering if people in real life call you Hopsy or if that is just your name for yourself on your blog. It's over-the-top preppy and really cool!
I am interested in what type of work that you do as well! I see that you studied Art History (I did as well!)do you work in that field?
Can we have a tour of Hopsy's closet please? (that is totally a question lol)
¿Por qué estudiaste español?
I second Gracie Beth!!!! You seem to have the BEST clothes! Please give us a photo tour of your closet!
If you got to have dinner at Lilly's place, what would you bring as a hostess gift?

Do you have a goal for what you want to be when you grow up? Not that I am calling you a kid, even in my 50's I still think about it:).
How long did you live in Memphis?! I live in Memphis and noticed your reference to St. Mary's!!! Where did you live here? If you are ever back in town let me know and we can meet for lunch :)
If you had to pick one pair of your favorite Tory Burch Revas, which would you pick? I'm looking into buying my first pair and want your advice since it's seems like you're in the know! I loved your post on styling your hair. Question: Do you use anything on your hair to prevent bedhead? I would really long to add some longevity to my blow out but often times I wake up with severe bedhead.
i ditto all of these questions!
Hello!
I'm a brand new blogger, but I've been enjoying reading yours for a while, and it's just wonderful!
My question is about the Martha Stewart Lilly show and events coming up. I don't have tickets (although I'm still desperately hoping my name will be drawn!), but I've decided to travel to NYC anyway in hopes that perhaps they will be giving away standby tickets the morning of the show. Would it be possible to join your tuesday evening starbucks gathering, and to attend the Lilly store event on wednesday afternoon? Do you have any more info about Lilly happenings on March 10 11? Thank you, I can't wait to hear from you!
Best Wishes,
Melanie
What perfume (if any) do you wear?
Also, I have been meaning to comment or email you about this: What was the name of the book you mentioned a while back that you said changed your eating habits/nutrition, etc. You mentioned at one point doing a post on it but never did - I would love to know the title.
My question is....what made you move down to Dallas?
Henley asked: What do you do for a living? My guess has always been an event planner- I'm curious to know if I'm right or wrong.
I love Gracie Beth's question- fun idea too!
Also interested in your job - you say it's your dream job so it must be wonderful! And I bet you're fabulous at it!
Is there a piece of Lilly that you never bought and really regretted it later?
I ask this because I'm always so down about the fact that I never bought the yellow Jackie dress with white embroidery.
I would love to know how you came to Christ and more about your Christian walk as you have navigated through this part of your life!
I am the mother of 15 month old twin girls. From reading your blog, you seem like a fine young lady with manners and genuine concern for others.Your Mother (& Dad) CLEARLY did a fine job raising you. What are the best lessons she (they)taught you? Thanks for your fun blog! I so enjoy reading about your adventures!
what is one guilty pleasure of yours that is {non-preppy}?
I too want to know about hopsy's career :)
This will be fun! I was going to ask about your job, but others beat me to it!
I hope you have a nice weekend!
1. What type of work do you do?
2. I'd love to see inside your closet!
What are your top 3 must-have items of clothing or accessories. I'm sure a Lilly shift is on the list....
I, too, would love to know what the name of the book you read that changed your eating habits is? Sounds like just what I need to read- I like the way you eat...it makes sense, eat when you're hungry!
