For All You Brides

I just adore this Vogue pull out from February 2004:
From the Wedgewood cake to the double strand of Mish pearls to the hydrangea bouquet everything is so delicate yet so lovely. If you stick with traditional it will never go out of style (this applies to ALL aspects of life)!

Hopsy, you are so right!

I am still dying to know ... what is your job? I can't guess from your blog! Can you do a post on what you do, how you found your job? I love your style!

Oh my gosh! That was my motto for my wedding. I did not want to look back at my pictures and just see 2006...I wanted to see timeless. I went so far as to ask my husband to ask his friends to shave all of their facial hair. He thought that was over the line, so he didn't, but thank God, they did it anyway.

This was the exact inspiration for my summer wedding! I was planning ours for 2 dates just in case because of our school schedules (haha!), and in the end we celebrated with family and friends at a cozy, black & white New Year's Eve celebration! But how funny to see the blue & yellow summery style on your blog! love it.

That is my DREAM engagement ring...I always joke with my mother that if a man every were to propose to me with a diamond ring that I would be forced to say no because he obviously would not know me well enough!

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!!!!!!!!!! This is the prettiest thing I have seen in ages!!!! The wedgewood cake! The lemon dress! I love this colour combination - it is like a bedroom I had as a child - laura ashley blue and yellow. I just ADOOOOOORE American Vogue - sigh! They get it so so right. I need a scanner - then we can compare clippings!!

So pretty! Traditional and classy things are always so beautiful. That is exciting that Lilly will bring out the pink and green this week. I'm thinking about going to the trunk show at my Lilly shop tomorrow if I have time.
