Tunics Round Two!

Round two and two have been made mine!

Since I am sure you have been just DYING to know what my first purchases from Lilly were I am finally here to give you the 411! As you know my day was fabulous and I actually did not end up buying anything right away. I did not want them to think I was too hardcore or intense, however I think they know I am so all is good. I decided to run back in on Monday night as I was afraid the tunics I wanted might not be there next week. They were on sale so yes, this is a justifiable argument. Anyway, I bought the two above pieces ON SALE and they are just darling! I will wait to wear the blue and white ginger jars, but I might bust out the Lilly Palooza this weekend depending on the weather. It is bright, but there is NO white to be found. I can possibly pull it off with my dark wash jeans at the Spazmatics concert. Thoughts? If not I can surely wear it next time I work, but I also am DYING to wear my KKG Lilly letter shirt with a white polo underneath and my Lilly argyle pocket jeans. Oh, the decisions a Lilly lover is often forced to make!

Those are super cute! Sadly, I am one of those who is so tall that a tunic just looks kind of "is she wearing a dress or an ill-fitting shirt" on. *Pout*

We do not have a store in our state that carries Lily, so I was thinking about spending some xmas gift money on a piece. However, I don;t know the sizing. Do you wear Gap? I wear a lot of it so if you have time could you post a size comparison.

Love the artwork below. If you are planning a going away party for your mum you can get cakes created of the piece.

My husband did it for my birthday, see here:http://preppycricket.blogspot.com/2008/10/francophile-friday-beautiful-birthday.html
