Tour de Target.

I have been meaning to post the first two photos for ages as I hit Target in MN the day they were preppifying the store. I ran in to the Dallas store last night intending to only grab a storage bin, but all the new pink and green kept me there for almost an hour!
I bought two pink damask plates and two polka dot plates while home (I knew this would all be sold out in Dallas and I was right!). They will be perfect for entertaining. If only I had not bought the madras drink bin this summer then I could be the proud owner of the green damask...I guess I will just have to leave that up to one of you!
I love the green bowls that are pink inside and the candle holders. So preppy and festive. I also bought two pink and two lime chargers which were on this bottom shelf, however my photo skills managed to cut them off.
I LOVE the two tier white baskets, but my favorite item in this photo at the $11.99 pink (or green) rug that looks like strands of preppy grosgrain. I think I might return and buy the pink tonight.
If anyone has read the most recent House Beautiful you were sure to see the Wisconsin cabin done by one of my favorite designers: Carlton Varney. Mr. Varney used zebra carpet on the stairs and said it really works with pink and is a definite Draperism. Why not create a little Draperism in your home for the low price of $11.99?!
Preppy pink and green damask (it is drak green, not brown) or flamingo towels are only $9.99 at Target! You had best stock up now because in a month these preps will be long gone!
Lime and white polka dot tea candles ($2.99) can add pop and prep to any table! Since I am bird obsessed when it comes to accessories I am also a fan of the white, bird tea candle holder.
Spread the preppy love by handing out goodies in these darling treat bags!
Pink Cupcake, these pajama pants were made especially for you! Hurry on in and grab a pair!
The, preppy, J Crew like umbrellas are now on sale at Target!
Here is an example of a preppy photo gone 100% wrong. The angle is bad and due to a tight schedule Hopsy had no time to flip. However, the pink bucket is soooo PBK, but is in the Dollar section as are the pink and green dish gloves!
I hope you enjoyed the Preppy Tour de Target Hopsy style! This was a mini tour as I could not get photos of every darling, preppy item (there was also a madras bikini, an anchor bikini for Nautical by Nature, a pink and green rug and so much more). However, that gives you all the more reason to head to your nearest store and scoop these items up before they are gone. I am headed back tonight to make the pink iron mine. My iron is sad and tired so the pink Steamfast is calling my name plus it is another trip to preppyland which I just cannot resist!

I was there the other day and if I had more time, minus 2 kids who Needed to see the Star Wars toys, i would have been there for ever. I ended up getting pink and green discloths (dollar section) and a pink carry bin (also dollar section, only 2.50) to carry my fragrances around as I work. Ill sooo be back though-target and milk and cookeez are one (esp since they are adding sooo much pink and green, YEAH!!!)

I can't remember the last time I swooned so much at a post! This is all so gorgeous... I feel fortunate that there isn't a Target around to tempt me! Otherwise, I'd be in serious trouble!

My daughter(Sweet,Sassy & Always Classy)bought all that new stuff at Target last weekend. We had so much fun picking it out. She has the pictures on her blog too. She got the adorable placemats, the pink damask dishes, the damask iced tea glasses, oven mitt, kitchen towels, the silk peonies flower arrangement, the hot pink pencil holder and napkin holder, the adorable apron, etc. etc. etc. You get the picture. We bought just about everything they had!!! You better get to your Target quick if you want any of it, because our 2 Targets are almost sold out. Our Target also has adorable pink pajamas in lots of precious preppy patterns that have been put out for Valentine's Day. So cute!!! I love Target too!

Target has out done themselves again. I was "giddy" looking at everything. My Target didn't have everything in or the shelves were somewhat bare from it being purchased already. I can't wait to see the complete line.

Oh good - I'm not the only one who whips out a camera at Target!

I got one of those mini bins at the dollar section in pink - it's adorable.

Are you saying you're sorry you got the madras bin last year??? That's still my FAVORITE Target purchase of all time probably. I do love that damask one though. Will have to get that one as well.

I love all of it. Our Target didn't have any of the new collection out last weekend. I must run there this weekend to check it out.

Sadly Target in my current town is prep-less. I went today and they had a few of the kitchen pieces but I was on the hunt for a J-Crew-esque umbrella and came out empty handed :(

I was so excited when I saw the new stuff at Target. I keep having to sneak all the stuff I bought in past my husband. A few things everyday... (we're supposed to be saving for a new house) He just doesn't understand what a good deal it is compared to what it would have cost at another store... :)

Have the employees of Target ever noticed you taking photos? Most store won't allow any kind of photograhy inside their stores. My darling hubby is in management for Bed, Bath & Beyond and he let me in on this info.

No complaints from me, though! I love your photo tour :)
