We had a snow day here in Dallas as a result of a horrid ice storm last night. In the two years that I have lived here it is safe to say that this is the worst weather I have seen in Texas. The roads were horrible so I choose to stay off until the temperatures warmed up. Now things are looking great and all is well. While it was grim outside I kept warm inside and wore a darling little combination in order to do so. I know, I know, I sort of was that girl all decked out in Burberry, however I will admit it was tasteful. My coat is actually a much lighter shade of blue, but I could not find a photo. It looked wonderful with dark wash denim and I topped the outfit off my old school Burberry rain boots, my Burberry pashmina and a headband from Calista Cove. I hope you were able to stay warm in style today as well. It sure helps beat the negative bad weather vibes!

I did venture out around 11 to get my hair cut and colored (only because it really needed it and it's so hard to reschedule). I thought Central would be the safest route because it would have been sanded as well as heavily traveled. WRONG! I almost got in a wreck just getting on! The entrance ramp was a complete sheet of ice. Yikes. There were several wrecks up ahead so I exited and went Hillcrest instead which was much better.

My co-worker actually got delayed in the Dallas Fort Worth airport today for several hours - said he heard there were like 57 car wrecks this morning due to the weather - Be Careful and Stay Warm!!!
