As many have mentioned this weekend I am too am truly honored to be part of such a wonderful online community! It is amazing what can be done and how lives can be changed when a group comes together for the better good! I am so very blessed to have been introduced and accepted by you all! I cherish our friendships even if they may (now) only be through a computer screen!!
I had a lovely weekend here in Dallas and really enjoyed the perfect weather! BFF and college roomie L's sister was in town. We attended the Spazmatics concert on Friday evening. This was my second time seeing them and I LOVE them! If I was not busy at the end of this month I would definitely be going to their event again! Yesterday, we hit up HPV and did lunch at the one and only Celebrity. I ran errands all afternoon and also got some furniture shopping in. I have been on the hunt for the perfect bedroom/reading chair, but had no luck yesterday. I found the style chair I wanted, but it cannot be ordered in a fabric that will even remotely match my room so mother has offered to contact her decorator and see what she can find out. I was able to purchase a hutch for desk which now allows things to look MUCH more organized! I just adore PBK! Then, last night L, her sister and I had dinner and saw Revolutionary Road. The movie was very different than we had all envisioned and I personally was not the biggest fan. Today, I went to church (we had a wonderful sermon on prayer which really hit home) and then I worked at Lilly! I LOVED getting to see some of the new spring items that have arrived. However, I am holding out for the pink and green shipment. I did pick this up:

It was on sale and is so perfect for Dallas weather. It is also a great piece for travel. I just know I will get wonderful use out of it and I think I might even model it all day tomorrow!
In other news, make sure to stop by MMM's blog and congratulate her. Baby J has arrived early this morning and he is just darling! Also, please continue to keep the Stamps family in your prayers. As of tonight things seems to be looking up, but we must be diligent!
To everyone that has tomorrow off, enjoy you free time!! To everyone else: have a wonderful start to your work week!

That coat is perfect for spring, I love the print.
Hurray for having a fabulous weekend!!!! I love that coat!!! So cute!
Glad you had an amazing weekend. Love your new coat!! Hope you can find the chair you want. Have a great week. Love & blessings!
So you work at Lilly part time?
working in entertainment... i read the screenplays before i decide to venture into the theater for a movie. I couldn't be in more agreement with you about Revolutionary Road. I think Kate Winslet probably did a masterful job of her role, but I found the screenplay so hard to take- I just couldn't bear to go to the theater and watch. Glad you had such a great weekend! :)
Such a cute coat!
Darling jacket! ... and a dream come true - working at Lilly!

Ooooh, that coat is absolutely amazing!!!
So glad you had a wonderful weekend and I'm loving that Lilly coat! I did get my items in the sale they were having, so I was happy. Did you find the hutch at PBK? I was in there yesterday, but must not have looked closely enough! I have been on a search for a hutch though and haven't found one. My desk desperately needs to be more organized. Have a wonderful day!
What a nice recap! When do you think the pink & green collection will be coming in? I'm holding out too!! Have a great day!!
That coat is lovely!
That outfit is just adorable! I'd never have thought of leopard for myself, but I'm quickly reconsidering! Love it!
You're a doll, KP!
The coat is adorable. So excited about baby J and we keep praying for Harper!
I just found your blog and I am just loving it so far!
Great coat!
I've been following baby Harper's story and am definitely praying for a full recovery.
Such a snazzy outfit! You have such great taste :)
Thank you for spreading the word about Kelly and the Stamps family. The power of prayer is amazing!
God bless you.
YUM CELEBRITY! So jealous. I miss Dallas!
Hubby and I saw Revolutionary Road this weekend..(Saturday night?..I'm forgetting already)...I wonder if you were there in the audience!
Yeah, I was disappointed. I thought they should have had a lot more of their early life so you at least care about the characters....instead of just rushing in with "Hon, I want to move to Paris" in practically the first 5 minutes. That and a few other things.
Oh well. I enjoyed my popcorn and milk duds. Lol.
I am glad you had a great weekend! The Lilly coat is adorable. I love it and the matching skirt.
Have a nice week!
