Tomorrow, I am attending my casino party. However, I will unfortunately not be sporting the lovely J Crew dress I purchased and shared with you last week. I just happened to check the status this morning and it is stuck in IL...still. I rang up the call center and they were less than helpful. I will spare you of the details and a rather long story because I would hate to turn anyone off from the store. I mean at the end of the day they have darling clothing, but I will be sticking with Lilly as much as possible from here on out and for very good reason too. Anyway, I have other things I can wear and I sure hope I am able to come with a new ensemble. I am hopeful! While this was the downer of the day I did have a delightful day overall and this incident is now water deep under the bridge.

On a positive note today I FINALLY got around to hanging this wonderful painting on silk that mother picked up for me on her first visit to India. Isn't the hot pink so fitting? Oh, and the elephant is too! She represents my political party and it is of course a preppy figure! Perhaps when I start my India handbag import business I will bring some of these back for buyers as well! Other wonderful news was I got numerous compliments on my ensemble and Harper has been moved out of the NICU and Kelly can now stay with her at night! What an answer to prayer, God is wonderful! What delight this brought to the end of my day. Hooray!
