Nina Part Two!

Today was fabulous! The weather was perfect, the Christmas lights are going up, I wore a Lilly shift and I got to see NINA! We went to dinner at the one and only Mi Cocina and then attended a lecture with Phillipe de Montebello, the longest serving director of the MET. The lecture was so interesting and it really offered an inside look at creating exhibitions and gaining acquisitions. I loved that Phillipe de Montebello even added a few things about Brooke Astor into his talk. I read The Last Mrs. Astor this summer and know how involved she was with the fabulous museum so that was fun. Anyway, back to Nina...as mentioned earlier this week I simply adore her and feel as if we have been life long friends. That is what I love about blogging: it connects you with others just like you who you would never have had the chance of meeting otherwise. With that being said I just want you all to know how thankful I am for each of you. It is so wonderful to be surrounded by and have the opportunity to correspond with such driven, bright, successful women. Thank you all!
