Today is a HUGE day! I am talking REALLY big fabulous readers! Today begins the countdown to my Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale and NYC trip!
In ONE WEEK I will be on my way to Philadelphia. I will be mentally preparing for a day I have dreamed of for years. Literally, years. I have been into (some might consider me obsessed) Lilly Pulitzer since I was in eighth grade. That is eight years going on nine dear friends. I have been hooked and never loved any other clothing brand as much. I own over 115 items of Lilly clothing and C and I live in a pink and green apartment. I have worked at a Lilly store, been in a Lilly fashion show and even won their facebook contest last December. I adore the vibrant colors and exotic prints and shifts and tunics are my favorite Lilly items. Lilly is Hopsy and Hopsy is Lilly! If only my love for Lilly and all things pink and green could get me a tour of the PA office/headquarters!! I just do not know what I would do, but I do know what I would wear!
I have gotten loads of information on the sale from some very kind, fellow bloggers. I have heard I am a sample size so that really excites me! Since this is the case I think I might be adding a few more shifts to my collection. I mean someone has yet to tell me thirteen is the number to own. Actually, if you ask me it is an unlucky number so at least one more is in order. Anyway, dear readers do not fear there is something in this for you too! I have been planning to pick up some items at the sale and host a little giveaway when I return. Keep reading and it just might be your lucky day come November 26th! Also, in case you have not already checked it out make sure to visit the revamped website. LillyPulitzer dot com is better than ever and while I am shopping in a convention center you can shop online. We can channel one another!
Okay, I think you understand my excitement for the BIG trip! I will be thinking of you all and if anyone has any tips I gladly welcome them!
I will leave you with some of my favorite Lilly prints. For the record, 2001 and 2005 were my very favorite years as far as prints are concerned and I even saved all the catalogs.
I also love the party lanterns print, but was unable to find a suitable photo!

OH, so jealous! You are so lucky you are a sample size. Lucky! You must bring back some amazing things and then post pictures of it all!
I have had the pleasure of touring the HQ. You would simply die. It is exactly how you would expect it to be. The lunch room has a juice stand, there are palm trees and pink and green around every corner. It is beautiful.
Enjoy the sale. I will be there bright and early Friday morning.

KP You are 100% correct. I completely have my days mixed up. I just reached out to Calista Cove and we are putting our heads together as to when to come up. We could do later in the day friday- and then meet for dinner on Friday night when the sale ends. Or we'll come up saturday. Promise to be in touch GOOD luck on your event xoxoxoxo

My friends are all going back! I wish I could make it work to go this year but I don't have childcare!! What FUN!!!!

I am still dreaming of one day going to the Lilly sale. You posted the prints of my three favorite dresses: The Sea Monkeys, Via Blue Elefrance and the party lanterns. I always love the Lilly Resort collection the best because I can wear that to work. In college, I had a Lilly apartment--pink, green and white and I even have a Lilly quilt I made. Can't wait to see what you buy!
You posted some of my favorite prints! I can't wait to hear about the wearhouse sale. I think it sounds like so much fun! Maybe next year I can make the trip.
I just got back from viewing the new Jubilee collection. It was gorgeous! I am going to post about the dress I bought soon.

ps. thanks for the comment. Taft is an incredible school- I am way impressed! :) I went to Deerfield. I would love to make a trip next fall to enjoy the foliage. It's like nowhere else on earth!
Oh, I LOVE cabana banana! That's one of my favs too! I also love White Peanut Island, Party Lights and ANY that feature elephants! You will have a blast!

I love the 2005 pink and green print with the monkeys (can't think of the name right now ha)!!! I have a bathing suit in that pattern that is one of my favorites. You are going to have such a fabulous time on your trip!
Ah, I went last year but I don't think my cousin will be home to brave it with me, it is crazy and you will love it! And honestly the line isn't that long, I go to school super close to headquaters and am quite tempted to apply for an intership senior year. Have fun, fun, fun! Can't wait to hear all about it!
I adore sample sales and warehouse sales! I can't imagine how excited I'd be if I was going to one selling my favorite designer's clothes! Last May, there was a Tory Burch sale one weekend after I was in NYC and I was so mad! Have a wonderful time, I can't wait for the full recap.
I save catalogs too!!!!! I used to be a Lilly sample size (I was everybody's sample size...) but alas, Lilly wasn't around during that time (it was in the dark days before the re-emergence!!!)You will have an AMAZING time...sometimes people don't understand certain "dream missions..." like my quest for front row Paul McCartney seats...but it's something you HAVE to do. Enjoy, and pick up some fabulous goodies!!!!!

I've been in the headquarters before. It's DIVINE and practically HEAVEN! I went around Christmas last year, and it felt like it was summer again. And I think I might be going to the warehouse sale this weekend too!
