Cell Time (no, I am not going to jail)!

It is time for a new phone for Hopsy!!!
Very exciting I know and perhaps that is the reason I keep putting it off. I currently have a Blackberry Pearl and a Pink Razr. The Razr is not by choice. My super fun cell got stolen on the way back from Europe in 2007 and I settled for the easiest replacement. Do not get me wrong, it is cute as can be just not that easy to use. Anyway, I have narrowed my search down to a second Blackberry. I LOVE my Pearl and text often so this seems to be the best option plus the price is right!
The first option is the Pink Curve:
I love the size and of course the color of this one!!
Second option: Silver Blackberry World
Since I travel I am all about convenience. This is wonderful in that is will work if and when I need to while traveling. Pretty much the same as the lovely peak, but for the same price you get the world feature. Please note that I do know it costs more to use the phone abroad so that is not an issue.

Third Option: Blackberry Storm

This is the new Blackberry that comes out this month. I am not into touch screens or added web browsing features at all so this is my least favorite of the three. I just thought it might be sort of fun to be one of the first to have one.
Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged!

I was at the verizon store today trying one out for my mom, who wants the curve. Its so easy to use also, I love it! I like the pearl, but I text alot also and so does mama dearest so its not the best option. She wanted the storm, but at first its gonna be so expensive. I also had to remind her that she will never be able to use it! I think you should go with either the curve or the world!

Whatever you do, you must have a pink phone!

I have the Curve and I love it. I find it very user friendly. By the way, I *love* your blog. You are the cutest thing. I went to SMU (graduated in 91) and I just love hearing about your fun times in Dallas. Keep being your adorable self!!

The curve is great (and pink!) but I do really love my world blackberry. For what it is worth, the world is "supposed to" hold up a little better than the curve. And I didn't know you went to Taft...my ex's little bro went there - such a beautiful school! I love CT! (oh, and I left you a little blog award...)xox.

Well I am a big fan of my curve. It has never given me a single problem (but this could be said about most Blackberry products). You cannot go wrong! But I can't picture that a touch screen phone would do too well being poked and prodded in a big handbag. But I am sure that is not an issue considering this is 2008.

Whatever you do, make sure you don't get the smaller keyboard! Emailing on the go will suck without the full keyboard ;-)

I'm SO excited that the "regular" blackberry (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-12261_7-10038211-51.html) finally comes out VERY soon on the Nextel network so I can a: have the full keyboard and b: cut down from the brick (http://nextelonline.nextel.com/NASApp/onlinestore/en/Action/DisplayPhones?phoneSKU=RIM7100I)!

My company pays for us to have the World blackberry that you show. I have it in red, and it is amazing. I travel constantly for work and have some overseas clients so it makes things easy!

Let me know if you want more info.

I have the World and like it because it a bit thinner than the pearl but I love, love, love that the pearl comes in pink.

I'm in love with my Blackberry Curve it's amazing, Hopsy! It's so convenient, so much better than the Iphone! Have a fabulous day!

The only possible problem with the Storm is that when you are the first to get one, you tend to be the first to get all the problems that go along with it. They might not have worked the "kinks" out yet. Last thing you would want is a bum phone.

DH always says - wait a few months when something new is out before you get it because something goes wrong 75% of the time - AND, the price usually goes down!

I am DYING to get the storm...I think I am actually going to give in and get the iPhone though. I don't have Verizon or else I wouldn't abandon my blackberry roots...I have the Curve now and I highly recommend it =)

So glad I "found you" - I too, love me some pink!

I have the Pink Pearl also and I'm less than impressed. I'm on phone #3 (in 6 months)

I am totally going for the touch screen. I can't wait! Just wish they had it in pink (:

I heard the newest one is going to be really really cool, and kind of like an iphone, and I personally have the iphone and I LOVE it, okay okay I'm obsessed with it. :) My best friend has the world one and she lives in Austria and it worked for her all the time, until it got water in it and now it's broken forever. The pink one is so cute though! :)

I have the pink blackberry curve and I LOVE it! It's the first real "grown up" type phone I have ever had - and the transition was suprisingly easy!! I always feel so fab in meetings with my pink - but uber-functional phone! :) Good luck deciding!

I'm an iphone girl myself, but if I had a blackberry, it would be the curve. Plus it's pink - technology AND style. Perfect duo.
