Hot Chocolate!

As you may know I am a huge fan of hot chocolate. One of my favorites is the Williams Sonoma chocolate shavings which is now available. They even have a peppermint flavor, well at least they did last year. I also adore Angelina hot chocolate from Paris. It is simply divine as is the hot chocolate from Laduree and Maison du Chocolate. With all the options out there I could not believe I found another type I adore: Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. I tried a tester yesterday and fell in love. It is so yummy and the perfect combination! Head on over to your local shop and order a glass today and let me know what you think (Clara Belle I know you were not a fan, but perhaps you got a bad batch?)!

Oh my word. I had Angelina hot chocolate from Paris this summer. Even though it was swealtering outside we had to pop in for a taste. It is indescribably good. I'm excited to try W-S and Starbucks upon your recommendation!

JGIWC and I get the salted carmel on a semi regular basis (4-5 days a week). Limited Time! AH! SO SAD!

Oooh fun! I've heard of salted choc before but never tried it. I am not a big chocolate fan but sometimes a small cup while cruisin' the aisle of my mecca, Tar-jay, is the perfect treat. That's for sure next on my list. Thanks for the tip!

I had this the other morning and was quite impressed. I definitely will have it again. It reminds me of the salted carmels from Vosges and their almond and sea salt bar. YUM!!

Hmmmm, that sounds like the perfect end to today's rainy, cold day! I may have to ask the fiance to pick me up from the train and drive straight to Starbucks!

If you're a chocolate fan and need a new hot chocolate idea, try the white chocolate mocha from Ghiradellis. Deeelish. I lived off of it my freshman year of undergrad! :)

I love hot chocolate! I am not a coffee drinker so I drink hot chocolate a lot. My favorite when it gets cold is Peppermint White Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. It has a zillion calories but it is so worth it!

Like I really need yet another reason to go to Starbucks...

But, based on your recommendation, I may have to stop by on the way to pick up carpool today and try that new hot chocolate. Yum!

Haagen Daz has a reserve flavor called Fleur De Sel Caramel Ice Cream; vanilla ice cream with caramel swirl and bits of chocolate covered salted caramels. Have you experienced this delishness?

M.A. said...

Sounds delish...but as a former Starbucks employee addicted to caffeine I find it hard to get just the hot chocolate without any espresso in it! Maybe one night I will try this though!

I have been afraid to try the caramel hot chocolate at Starbucks. After your rave review I am going to try it. I love their pepperment hot chocolate!

I saw that Starbucks Carmel Salt Hot Chocolate. I thought the barista made a mistake while writing the name of the drink. BUT with your recommendation, I'll try it tomorrow (it's SO cold in Philadelphia) because staying warm is essential on windy, cold, rainy days!
