Get Ready for 2009!

I am one of those people who has tested about every calendar/organizer there is. I have gone through two Kate Spade agendas, a Filofax, a T. Anthony date book and a Levenger (this one is specifically for work). I have loved each and every one and still have my pink, calf leather Kate and Filofax that i switch out. However, I have great difficulty fitting everything into the tiny boxes and it also really bothers me that my handwriting gets messed up on the left side as I constantly run into the rings when writing. Anyway, I was at a local paper store a few weeks ago and came across the Kate Spade desk calendar for 2009. I used to use this calendar in high school and had completely forgotten about it. The size is perfect as it is not as large a notebook and you can easily fit it in your purse. There is a two page month spread for all twelve months and each week also has a two page spread. The days are listed with time slots so if you ever add an appointment things can stay in chronological order- a must for Hopsy! For $20 this makes a wonderful New Year's gift for your bff. I mean what other designer item can you get for this price and who doesn't love KS!? I am thinking this would be the perfect holiday giveaway. So, if you are in the market for a new 2009 calendar and you are not quite ready for a MomAgenda go stock up. These sell out! In fact, I tried to track down a 2008 a few weeks back and even contacted KS who said their warehouse had long been cleared. You are sure to enjoy this lovely and it will keep you as organized as ever for the new year!

Oh I love this! I wonder if I could convince my office to order these for us instead of the oh so drab "DayMinder" that only comes in black!!

I'm so glad you approve of the KS! I actually just bought the KS planner (pink calf, go figure!) as a little present to myself, and had one heck of a time tracking down the 2008 weekely inserts so I wouldn't have to wait until Jan to start using it. I went through calling KS corporate, etc., with no luck (they actually told me to check the flagship in SoHo, but that's where I purchased it in the first place!) I ended up calling my girls at the Scottsdale store, and they had them! If you're really interested in having a 2008, I'd recommend calling a few stores in different states? You might have some luck.
Happy weekend!
xoxo

So glad you had a great weekend. Sounds like the party was a blast. The dress you found was perfect-and the necklace was the icing on top. Wonderful choice.

I'm going to check out the KS calendar. I currently just use the calendar on my computer. It's great. It automatically syncs with the cell phone, so no transferring of information from one to another.

Hope you have a terrific Monday!

This is LOVELY! I am using a J. Crew agenda this year, but I was thinking of refilling my KS agenda. This is the perfect middle ground! GREAT FIND, Hopsy!

Love this! And definitely a great gift idea too. I did not get a planner this past year as I've been using my Blackberry, but I think I may switch back as I prefer writing.

p.s. in response to your question on my blog; I went to Wellesley College - I should have put that in my post but I guess I typed too fast :)

I have used the KS calendars for years. I am on my 2nd KS planner. I bought the 2009 calendar over a month ago. I didn't want to be without it when 2009 gets here.

I remember you had a post a few months ago about jojo earrings. I love mine but cannot find them for any cheaper than $50 in Raleigh. have you seen any more recently on ebay or what not? If not, how did you find the ones from before. I want new ones so bad, I cant stop thinking about them!!!

I have used the Kate Spade planner for several years and I love it. Bonus: The illustrations/theme for the planner are so unique and clever. I purchased mine about 6 weeks ago because they do sell out. Last year's was on ebay for over $30, with bidding still active.

I.m a calendar/organizer addict:D!!!

I've been looking for a new system-I currently use the Franklin Covey. I love it and have used it for years-it's just a bit too bulky...
Kate Spade may be the answer!
