With exactly TWO WEEKS to go...
Regardless whether your candidate wins or loses at the end of this election will you be able to say that you gave your time and energy to fight the good fight or will you sit on the sidelines knowing you could have done more?
There is still plenty of time and many opportunities to get out there and make a difference! I encourage each of you to do something. Whether it be taking twenty minutes to call ten people and remind them to vote, participating in a door-to-door Saturday walk for your candidate or taking November 4th off to volunteer at the polls (like me!!) every little bit counts. It is easy to get caught up in everything and complain when things do not go your way. However if you are willing to give your time for what you believe in you will not have sit at home on November 4th knowing you could have something more. I encourage you all to contact the Democrat or Republican headquarters in your area to see where you can help. For those of you living in Dallas I am more than happy to send you the contact information for the DCR volunteer chair and also fill you in on various opportunities!

Great reminder! Working at the polls is SO much fun! I used to do that and it feels so patriotic! Also, I'm dying to know what your plans for Partners Card are???
Thanks for the reminder. I remind everyone I know to Vote! -- For McCain of course! hehe
And, early votng is open.
OH! I've worked the polls for EVERY election but this one! It's SO much fun!
I am SO thrilled to vote, it's my first election even though I'm 20 and I just can't wait. It's so important to just vote, who cares who you vote for just do it! Btw I'm still not sure.
I have done campaign work since the last election and have absolutely loved being involved with this one. Despite what your party is or your thoughts, at least people are talking!!
I voted like a month ago via absentee ballot!
Heck, I don't need to call them--they have been calling ME nonstop--lol. I am so ready for the election to end so my phone will stop rining all day!
I volunteered as a poll watcher during the 2000 election. This was pre-kids, lol.
If I really believed in either of the two candidates, I would help one of them out. As it stands, I am voting for the least objectionable, in my opinion.
Voting Friday! I usually don't early vote, but this year I think the polls will be so crazy the day of... I don't want to stand in line for hours. Then hoping big time for my man/woman to win!!!
That is so cool that you are working at the polls!
Okay so I've volunteered a number of times at RNC headquarters but I don't know anything about working at the polls -- how do I do that??
SO I totally saw you at JLD tonight but you left before I got to say hi :( AND you looked super cute :)...I was sitting on the same row as you but on the very end (there was a group of 4 girls next to you and I was the last one in the pink dress in case you saw me:))
Another great post!
