The Rape of Europa

I love mystery (non-scary mysteries), but what I find truly fascinating are art mysteries. The Rape of Europa is a must see film for anyone that appreciates and loves art. It is a fascinating story that everyone is bound to appreciate.
THE RAPE OF EUROPA is a feature documentary that takes the audience on an epic journey through seven countries and into a violent whirlwind of fanaticism, greed, and warfare that threatened to wipe out the artistic heritage of Europe. For twelve long years, the Nazis looted and destroyed art on a scale unprecedented in history. But heroic young art historians and curators from America and across Europe fought back, mounting a miraculous campaign that would rescue and return the millions of art works displaced by the war. Joan Allen narrates this chronicle about the battle over the very survival of centuries of western culture. Written by Actual Films

I hadn't thought of getting something for a stuffed pup - I'll have to check that out!

The Yap sale is at the City Pet Supply at Preston and Royal on Friday and Saturday. I talked to the store manager today and he said they had boxes of stuff that would just be sitting out for people to dig through and most of it would be 75% off. Most of it will be clothes but they will also have some leashes, collars, bags, toys, and beds although he wasn't sure how many of each.

I am like devastated that The Yap is gone! It is so hard finding 7 and 8" collars that are cute and made well!
