Before I go into any other 'business' I want to thank each and every one of you who left a comment or emailed me regarding going private. After some thought and lots of debate I have concluded that there is just no way I can only select 100 of you to read my blog. Each of you took the time to contact me that there is no way I could ever leave anyone out. Your thoughts and comments mean so much and I have loved getting to know you. I plan to keep my blog public so please keep sharing and invite all your friends along on this ride as well. Thank you all again, you are the reason I write!
As most of you know this week is one of my busiest of the summer with two of my best friends arriving in Dallas. L arrived on Tuesday afternoon and has been busy getting her apartment set up and learning the lay of the city before classes start on Monday. Then, BFF N arrived this afternoon!
BFF N and I Summer 2007- Working in the Hostess Cabin at Camp Greystone (Sunday's we played nursery while everyone was at church- it was one of the highlights of our week!)
I went into work and hour early this morning so that I could leave at 3:30pm to pick BFF N up at Love Field. I showed her around my favorite areas of the city before heading back to my apartment. This evening we had dinner at MiCo (she was shocked it was not your typical dive-like Mexican restaurant), then attended a planning, committee meeting for Rock the Red Door (I am partly in charge of the silent auction for the event this October) and now we are watching the Olympics. Tomorrow, we have another busy day, but are bound to have such fun. We are attending the Shrimp and Grits Kids show hosted by Happy Mommy, hitting up North Park, seeing Mamma Mia and devouring some Sprinkles cupcakes. Tomorrow evening I have arranged to take BFF N and L, C and a group of other girls to Ghostbar! We are on the VIP list so it is sure to be a lovely time. I am warning you now that this weekend's recap might be long! Time to sign off and get back to cheering on Team USA. Have a fabulous weekend and thank you all for all your support!!
