Dearest Readers,
I am glad to know we all have such fabulous taste! You can NEVER go wrong with anything in the Tobacco Leaf pattern. You can incorporate so many colors into your room of choice with these accessories and as mentioned create a truly timeless look. I am glad you all liked the third lamp the best. I cannot wait to order a pair and for $135 plus free shipping we will all be getting a steal. Check out Lighting Universe for this amazing deal! I know the name is not near as posh as Madison, Ampersand or Park Avenue gifts, but we mustn't complain when we are paying less for a lamp then a Lilly tunic!!
Finally, for all you Tobacco Leaf lovers I just had to include a brief history of the design:
"The “tobacco leaf” pattern, became especially popular in the late 18th– early 19th century. The design itself probably does not depict tobacco leaves, but rather multicolored tropical foliage with hibiscus and passion flowers. By whatever name, the design is one of the most exotic and colorful in the repertoire of Chinese export art of that period."Information courtesy of the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Also do not miss these amazing items the Met offers:

Tin Plates ($8)- I think it was Oscar de la Renta that had the fabulous idea to use tin plates at his step daughters wedding in place of china (please do not quote me on this as I am not 100% positive it was Oscar). These plates are great for entertaining or using as filler pieces around your home. Plus, like the lamp the price it right!

I love your choice. I had never heard of tabacco leaf before but they are beautiful.
I love the tabacco leaf pattern. I didn't know there was an actual name for it, but my mother has a gorgeous tabacco leaf bowl (it's about the size of a punch bowl) in the center of our dining room table. It's nice to know what it actually is and to see so many other items in the pattern. I'm thinking I should expand her collection to include those gorgeous lamps you posted yesterday.
Thanks for posting the link to the store. I am in the market for several new lamps, so this site should be a great resource.
Enjoy your week!
