With all that the internet now allows one to do I have considered going private for quite some time. I feel as if I have really built up my blog and have so many wonderful readers. I do not want to leave anyone out, so what are your thoughts on this matter? I know some of you have recently made the same choice and I would love to hear what you have to say. Also, if you would like to continue reading please leave a comment with your email so that I can add you to my list if and when I decide where to go with this. This is your one and only chance to keep following the fabulous life of Hopsy (do not forget I have several fabulous giveaways coming up soon too)!

I am new to the world of blog reading...I can totally understand wanting to go private...but, please include me as a reader!! Finally, someone who loves Lily and monograms as much as me...it can get lonely in Seattle...

while I understand why some people go private. I myslef, don't like it. It is frustrating to be a lurker on a blog and then all of a sudden you can't read anymore because they have gone private and you have no way of getting in touch with them that you still want to read. But if you do go private, please include me.

I certainly understand your interest in doing so now that you have built up a loyal readership :) Although I have to say that I enjoy discovering random, new public blogs via my google reader's recommendations and going private may deprive potential new readers of the pleasure of reading your blog!

I support and understand your reasons for going private. I did the same thing awhile back. The more intimate you become with your readers the more you want to share, and as much as you trust your blog-girlfriends there are those out there who are just not to be trusted. HOWEVER, if you were private I (and many of these other cute sweet ladies) would not have found you!! So good luck and please keep me on your list, xo

Private or not I want to keep up on your adventures. PS - I am a veteran of the Lilly warehouse sale. I have been to Spring and Fall many times. You are going to have a blast! If by chance you are a size 6 (the sample size) it is definitely worth getting up at the crack of dawn to get in line, or even sleeping in line!

My only problem with going private is that you can no longer read private blogs on google reader. I forget who has gone private and don't always check those. I totally understand the privacy issue though

Please add me! I have a private blog (that only my husband reads) that I use as a journal to capture little moments in the day-to-day lives of our girls. Not sure what I'd do in your case. I wouldn't have found you if you were private, but it might be a safer option... hard call.

We live in small town in KY together. We toured Camp Greystone the summer of 07, then my 7 yr old and Sarah's daughter attended Jr. Camp together this past June. Loved it!
